I'M SHEILA J. SMITH

I have always loved to look at beautiful photos and could spend hours looking through books of Ansel Adams black and white work, or Annie Lebovitz' gorgeous, lush portraits.

After graduating high school, I went to College of the Ozarks near Branson, Missouri. They have a beautiful campus and had one of the best photography programs in southwest Missouri. I met and married my incredibly supportive husband there and we have two funny, intelligent sarcastic children and four dogs, Khamo, Appa, Gracie and Pepper, plus an orange tabby named Nathan!

I love the 2005 version of Pride and Prejudice (minus the sappy ending!) and Twilight (the first movie is the best of the series!!!).

People want to be accepted and feel heard. I guide you before your session and listen to what is important to you. During your session or wedding  I encourage you and pump you up! By the end we've laughed and taken great portraits that you love!

Most sessions are on location photography, it means that your portraits are not like everyone else's. You get to have input on the look and feel of your portraits and where you want to go. (This gives you a more "custom" look to your one-of-a kind portraits.) You want to go to Downtown Springfield or something fun down in the tourist areas in Branson! Maybe you're an introvert and just want a quiet beautiful place you can relax. I know some great places that make the process easy and stress free!
