HELLO THERE!

I'M SHEILA J. SMITH

I have always loved to look at beautiful photos and could spend hours looking through books of Ansel Adams black and white work, or Annie Lebovitz' gorgeous, lush portraits.

After graduating high school, I went to College of the Ozarks near Branson, Missouri. They have a beautiful campus and had one of the best photography programs in southwest Missouri. I met and married my incredibly supportive husband there and we have two funny, intelligent sarcastic children and four dogs, Khamo, Appa, Gracie and Pepper, plus an orange tabby named Nathan!

I love the 2005 version of Pride and Prejudice (minus the sappy ending!) and Twilight (the first movie is the best of the series!!!).

About Sheila J. Photography

I believe in giving you beautiful true to life colors with no filters. Just real vibrant color like the day you were married. I don't want you to look at your photos 10 years from now and ask yourself why your photos look muddy and dull.

I believe you should be comfortable in front of the camera so we have conversations before your session or wedding so I can get to know you and what you like and what's important to you. 

I believe you shouldn't have to wait forever for your wedding photos, so I try and get your images delivered within 2-4 weeks. October and November weddings within 4-6 weeks. Sneak peeks are delivered within 72 hours!
